Making metal furniture since 1973
One of the oldest manufacturers of metal tubular furniture in the Philippines. The company that quotes your order is the company that cuts, welds and coats it.
- Since 1973
- Local + export
- Made to order
If you are checking a supplier rather than reading about one, the four numbers below and the address at the foot of the page are the parts you want.
Where this came from
RL Com Engineering Inc. has been making metal tubular furniture in Quezon City since 1973. The company set out to seat the country with quality metal furniture at reasonable prices, and that is still the whole of the business plan.
It pioneered the mass production of metal tubular seating in the Philippines, then spent 53 years standardizing and automating it. That is the unglamorous reason a chair can be built to your specification here and still be priced against volume rather than as a one-off.
All of it happens on one floor. Tube is cut, bent and welded, frames are ground back and powder-coated, seats are upholstered or formed, and the run is assembled and checked before it is crated. We sell into the local market and we export.
There is no founder story here and no client list, because neither has been published. What has been published is a date, an address, a process and two phone numbers. Call one of them and ask whatever this page does not answer.
The company in numbers
Every number here is about the factory. There is no headcount, no floor area and no project count, because none of those have been published, and a number nobody can check is worth less than no number at all.

Buying from the maker
Cut, welded, coated, upholstered and assembled on one floor in Quezon City. Most of this market resells. We manufacture.
The drawing can change
Custom fabrication is a standing product line here, not an exception someone has to be talked into. Send drawings, a sketch, photos or a sample piece and you get shop drawings and a costed bill of materials back before anything is cut.
One finish across one run
Welding and upholstery happen on the same floor, so a whole dining room leaves matching. It does not arrive from two suppliers in two slightly different colours that were meant to be the same.
The schedule is ours to commit
The production schedule is agreed on your quote before we start, because it is our own line that has to hold it. There is nobody upstream who has to be asked first.
Volume actually moves the price
There is no minimum order, and the cost per seat falls as the quantity rises. That saving comes out of how the line is set up, not out of a discount somebody else has to agree to.
Where we are
One address in Quezon City and two phone numbers. There is no published email address, so the telephone and the Facebook page are the ways in. If you are reordering something you already run, a photo of the chair is more use to us than a description of it.
Tell us the room
Four short questions and you have a brief we can cost. Answer them here, or call the factory and we will walk through them with you.
